Meditation Morning | 6.26.26

10:04–10:09 a.m.

What I noticed: I sat a little later today. It’s such a gift to let the day go, sit, and drop in. The focus and clarity that follow are currently my “why.” More than relaxation, I’m noticing that this practice creates a kind of spaciousness that stays with me long after I stand up.

As mindfulness teacher Jon Kabat-Zinn said, “You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” I’m beginning to understand that the practice isn’t about creating a perfect state of calm. It’s about learning to meet life with a little more presence and enjoying the ride.
